KROME STUDIOS – IT’S THE COMPANY YOU KEEP

Krome is a professional game development studio based in Brisbane, Australia. Founded in 1999, it has shipped over 45 titles with partners and publishers worldwide including Disney Interactive Inc., Microsoft™, LucasArts™, Activision®, Electronic Arts™, Vivendi Universal and Konami® Digital Entertainment.

Originally formed in 1999 by a small team of dreamers, fuelled by at least a million cups of coffee (and perhaps a beer or two…) the team has grown from strength to strength with amazing partnerships, development partners and talented individuals behind the scenes that make it all possible.

SENIOR TEAM –

ROBERT WALSH – CEO and World Traveler

Flying all around the world to talk to clients and other game developers, Walshy’s racked up so many frequent flyer points that it’s clocked back over to 0. Walshy steers Krome through the waters of game development and makes business deals, but you can also contact him by joining various different guilds in various different MMOs.

STEVE STAMATIADIS – Creative Director and Pizza Aficionado

Steve’s favorite pizza contains pepperoni and anchovies and sometimes other toppings. It can be cold, warm or hot, so long as it’s making its way to his tummy. When he’s not making, eating or dreaming about pizza, Steve draws pretty art and designs games – for which he’s won an award or two!

LINDSAY PARMENTER – Head of Development and Footy Fan

Linds is kind of like Hannibal from the A-Team, except he isn’t a master of disguise and doesn’t smoke cigars. Actually, when you think about it, that’s a pretty bad analogy. Forget it. Linds just organizes things and makes them run smoothly, so long as it’s not on a night when there’s Footy on the TV.

GEORGE STAMATIADIS – Audio Director and Animal Lover

Sound and Music, with a bit of rumble, video editing, and writing thrown in for good measure. George is learning to live with Oxford Commas and LUFS. He owns several instruments like guitars, pianos, banjos, ukuleles but has yet to learn to play any of them. 50% Cat Person, 40% Dog Person, 10% People person, though not literally as that would be scary.

JAMES PODESTA – Lead Programmer and iDad

When he’s not making games for iOS, you’ll find him and his 2 kids building mansions in Minecraft on their networked iPads. Other hobbies include training his kids to write games, and attending 3D super hero movies. Occasionally he spends a day mowing lawns and worming sheep.

PERRY HART – Senior Programmer, Data Plumber and Euphemism Aficionado

Usually found making car sounds with his mouth or laughing at the general population. Perry just wants milk that tastes like real milk but will settle for beer. He likes long walks in Google Earth VR.

DAMIAN STEWART – Senior Programmer and Explorer of Multiverses

When he’s not programming games, he’s playing them. Damian is forever seeking out a good yarn in games, books, and videos. He was there when Spacewars was a cutting-edge video game, and hopes to be around when Holodecks become reality.

KEVIN MCGRATH – Artist and Optimist

Kevin (Keith) likes to make things look like things… and is occasionally successful. He is forever the optimist and always smiling. If Kevin is not in a meeting, he is requesting to have one. When not stuck inside task tracking software he is spending time with his kids.
