Fortitude Valley is said to be the ‘hip’ end of Brisbane which includes Chinatown, nightclubs, bars and cafes and is a 15 minute walk or 2 minute train ride from the Brisbane CBD.

The façade of the Krome building is ‘character listed’ with the Brisbane City Council and is indicative of the building’s colourful history. The building was originally an old mill, which was then used in WW2 by the military as the headquarters of the 5th Air Force Service Command. The Melbourne Olympics Committee convened in the building when organising the 1956 Olympic Games.
