- Examples of work, either via link to website, posted showreel or attached zip file.

Examples of work;
For most positions available at Krome, providing examples of work is crucial to advancing through the application process. Deciding what examples to provide is usually based on the individual’s talent and ability, naturally it is best to present your best work to date.

Artists:
It is beneficial to include the following for all Art positions:

An indication of the time it took to complete the artwork.

Various genres to indicate versilitiy of art.

Flat shaded (untextured) mesh with wire frame. (360 degree rotations of the untextured mesh with a wireframe an advantage)

Textured mesh.

Poly count.

Texture map.

Original concept.

For general artist positions it is beneficial to include examples of various types of models, eg. Characters, environments and props – including organic and in-organic styles.
Animation:

Walk cycle.

Run cycle.

Jump across a trench/short attack cycle.

Lifting and tossing away a heavy box/crate.

Idle pose – posing the character in a manner that looks esthetically compelling from all angles is important.

Lip synch.

Evidence of rigging and skinning skills.

Any knowledge/evidence of mel/max scripting.

3D levels and Maps.

Screenshots of mods worked on.
Game Designers:

Examples of Game Documentation and writing style.
Programmers:

Sample code.

Working game demo.
If a working game demo is supplied, please provide answers to the following questions.

Was all the code your own?

Who else worked on the code?

What part or parts of the code were you responsible for?

What code libraries, tools, etc. were used?

How long did you spend working on it?

Were you working to a design or specification document?

What changes to the design were made during the development process?

Please provide a technical description of exemplary features of your demo.
